Renaming Bookmarks and Folders

WebCD Globe Renaming Bookmarks and Folders

When you add a bookmark by dragging and dropping from the Retrieval View or using the Add Bookmark button, the bookmark name is the HTML page's title. (If the bookmark is not to an HTML page, the bookmark name is the document's name.) You can rename any bookmark or folder, including the "WebCD Bookmarks" item.

Edit Menu

1 In the Bookmarks View, select the bookmark or folder that you want to rename.
2 On the Edit menu, click Rename.
3 Type the new name, and then press Enter.

Mouse

After selecting an item, you can click on the item once more to edit the item's name. Type in the new name and press Enter when you are finished.

Shortcut Menu

1 Click the right mouse button on the item in the Bookmarks View that you wish to rename.
2 Click Rename. The item is selected for editing.
3 Type the new name, and then press Enter.
